Tesla CEO Elon Musk just unveiled the new Model Y, an all-electric, 230-mile range vehicle that looks like the Model 3 and is expected to hit the market in fall 2020.

The Model Y, which was teased on Thursday night at Tesla’s design studio in Los Angeles, has very similar features to the Model 3, The Verge reported. Model Y, which will be available in a long range, standard, dual-motor all-wheel, and performance versions, is slightly larger and sits a bit higher than the Model 3, TechCrunch noted. The car, which will be priced at $39,000 and up, will also offer customizable vehicle features for customers.

“It has the functionality of an SUV, but it will ride like a sports car,” Musk said at the event. “So this thing will be really tight on corners.”

Tesla’s Model Y has some important specs, including a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge and it easily sits seven people. The performance version of the Model Y will have the capability to travel from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a speed up to 150 mph. Unlike the Model 3, the Model Y has a panoramic roof, which gives gorgeous driving views.

Another important tip with the Model Y is that Tesla will release each Model Y car at a different time. First, Tesla will release the $47,000 long-range Model Y in the fall of 2020, and according to Musk, it will have a range of 300 miles. At this time, Tesla will also release the $51,000 all-wheel drive dual-motor Model Y and a $60,000 performance Model Y. The cheapest Model Y variant (the standard version), which will cost $39,000, won’t be buyable until 2021.
